Relationships with others, with yourself and with your environment all shape who you are. I believe healing of any kind begins with developing insight into and mending your relationships. This might mean setting boundaries, honoring your emotional experience, or making a major life change. These will be our main goals in therapy.
I work to create a supportive and holding environment for my patients through which we build lasting change. I am warm, direct, and find value in incorporating humor into my work. Working from a psychodynamic framework, which values insight, attachment, and relationships, I integrate cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practice to help patients build skills and connect with their innermost selves.
